The Age of Reagan

This assessment of the Ronald Reagan presidency, by the noted liberal historian Sean Wilentz, credits Reagan with significant achievements in both foreign and domestic matters. Wilentz examines the record, acknowledging that Reagan reduced taxes and government bureaucracy, while giving him due credit for bringing about (with Gorbachev) the fall of the Soviet Union.
